Deep Tissue Massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to massage deep layers of muscle and fascia around the entire body. The aim of deep tissue massage is to reach knots and tension deeper than the superficial layer of muscles.

It is not the most relaxing form of massage and can often be quite strenuous. it works by stretching tight muscles, stimulating inactive muscles and improving the condition of soft tissue. The aim of sports mssage is to reduce the tsress and tension that can build up in the soft tissue of the body during exercise.
